Harbin Normal University Chinese Government Scholarship

I. Qualification, Duration and Application Conditions of Scholarship

Scholarship for Postgraduate: Scholarship is provided to those who apply to attend postgraduate program with a time span of 3 years. The applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree with good records and be recommended by 2 professors or 2 associate professors. Applicant will be admitted when passing the HRBNU enrollment test. The applicant should be younger than 35.

Scholarship for Doctorate: Scholarship is provided to those who apply to attend doctoral program with a time span of 3-4 years. The applicant should have a Master’s Degree with good records and be recommended by 2 professors or 2 associate professors. Applicant will be admitted when passing the HRBNU enrollment test. The applicant should be younger than 40.

Note: Applicants who have never studied Chinese should attend a language class for 1-2 years to strengthen their language ability, during which time the applicants will still be aided by the government scholarship.

II. Contents of Scholarship

1.       China Government Scholarship will provide international students with their fees and spending on registration, tuition, and accommodation as well as monthly living allowance.

2.       Comprehensive Medical insurance which is the same with those offered to our domestic students.

III.    Application Period

Applicants shall contact Admission Office in December to get Prospectus and are required to submit documents by April 1.
